Several writers criticized this series on the basis of exaggeration of sets, costumes and even the storyline. In an interview one of the actress who plays the role of Fareedan in the series called out people for their level of hypocrisy, as they showed love to the American show ‘Bridgerton’ without pointing out its flaws and factual inaccuracies and criticized Heeramandi.
Personal Opinion
As a fan of period dramas, I was drawn to its aesthetic sets and costumes. The unpredictable complex characters and the grand scale of this series makes it more interesting. For me the story is not that great as the dialogues were.
